Is Mars 2023 Project The escape Route for Man?

Is Mars 2023 Project The escape Route for Man?

“Mars One will establish a permanent human settlement on Mars. We invite you to participate by sharing our vision with your friends, and perhaps, by becoming the next Mars astronaut yourself.”

That is the message of Mars One, the organization that wants to settle human beings on planet mars come year 2023.

Mars 2023 Project The escape Route for Man

Already thousands of people have registered to be part of the first settlement on the red planet, and many more applications are still being awaited. The record shows that about 120 countries have being represented already with a record 78,000 applications within two weeks. According to the CEO and Co-Founder of Mars One Bas Lansdorp, the organization is planning for about 500,000 people and they expects to get that before the time allotted for registration expires.

Even though one cannot but wonder why people love to join this kind of dangerous, unpredictable and seemingly senseless mission, or we might want to ask, what do they want in life that they cannot get that make them feel leaving the earth completely for a new planet will be best option to meet their needs.

When interviewed, many of those who registered did not express more than having a desire to explore a new thing as the reason why they want to go to Mars.

“The perfect candidate for the mission would not be a scientist with specific skill sets, but people with a deep sense of purpose, willingness to build and maintain healthy relationships, the capacity for self-reflection and ability to trust,” Mars One explained.

Once on Mars, settlers will be involved mainly in construction work such as installing greenhouses, maintaining the settlement’s systems and researching Martian climate and geological history.

All of these will happen in an environment that is far less habitable than the least habitable place on planet earth.

tower-of-babelLooking at Mars One critically, one will see another Tower of Babel in the offing. If what the proponents of Mars One are planning is feasible, how will they make the new and historic settlement free from crime, and all known human vices that are here on earth, how will they deal with environmental and health issues they are likely going to meet over there?

Why are humans always looking for things that will bring destruction upon them? Why going for a non-habitable planet when God has given us a habitable one with super abundant resources.

Truly Apostle Paul has said;

And just as they did not see fit to acknowledge God any longer, God gave them over to a depraved mind, to do those things which are not proper. Rom 1:28 NASU

Without doubt man has lost touch with God, and so we are looking for all kinds of alternatives to replace Him with.

It is time to move from uncertain and shadowy mirages and embrace the truth. God the creator of heaven, earth and the other planets have decided where we are to live, if we do His will He will ensure that we live in peace, abundance, good health, and long life, and we would not have any reason to migrate to another planet.

Thus we are calling for a new registration, not that of settling in Mars, but that of recognizing God and giving Him His rightful place in our lives.

You can sign here to help make the creation day a recognized holiday, and move with God not against Him.

6-Day Creation: Why it Took God So Long

6-Day Creation: Why it Took God So Long

Then God said, “Let us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; and let them rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over the cattle and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” Gen 1:26 (NASU)

God created the earth alone; the land, sea, atmosphere, plants, animals, birds, fish, and all creatures, visible and invisible, all in a perfectly organized sequence.

The bible enables us to understand that the creation and population of the earth took God six whole days. That is thought provoking because The Almighty God could have finished it all within a twinkle of an eye. Yes, this is possible if God could call those things that were not into existence as if they were. Roman 4:17.

But, from Genesis 1:1-28 we see a God who cherishes His creation so much that He sees no reason for him to rush the process of creating them. He will simply create something and wait for several hours to assess and observe it, looking at it through His holy and all-seeing eyes.He will carefully observe each creation and gave it a pass mark before retiring for the day. This, He did diligently, for six days.

Why do you think God has to do that?

He was looking for perfection: Our God is a perfect God; there is no fault, blemish or imperfection in Him. Hence it is only necessary for Him to create an earth system where all things work together in perfect harmony, just the way He wanted them to be, and all for His divine purpose.

He was looking for conformity: God has a purpose for everything He created. He does not just make things, He has a divine plan for even the least of His creation, hence God has to analyze each creation and identify whether it is conforming to that purpose. This includes man.

He was looking for beauty: God wanted a beautiful earth – a real replica of heaven where He wanted man (who He created in His image and likeness) to dwell and take dominion. For this reason He wanted to make sure that everything was really beautiful.`

He was looking for glory: Each creation was apportioned a level of glory which was necessary for them to fulfill divine purpose. The master planner Himself ensured that this was so, before putting His final approval on it.

The Almighty God took time to create the earth as a perfect, beautiful and glorious abode for all His creations.

And finally…

God saw all that He had made, and behold, it was very good – Gen 1:31.

What is the lesson that God wants us to learn here? He wants us to appreciate the beautiful earth we inherited, and the only way we can do that is to take care of the earth. How do you think God will feel when He sees men abusing the earth with activities that lead to global warming, drought, famine and such like? It can make Him angrier because we are not fulfilling divine purpose.

To make the matter worse, many do not even believe that God exists, nor created the earth, not to talk of reverencing Him. This is sad.

creation-storyHow great will it be if we can all worship God for giving us a beautiful and well planned earth? This is the reason why we must all give recognition to the Creation Day. The day that had been accepted globally to celebrate the beginning of the existence of our earth, and remind people that God created the earth and all that is in it.

Let the people praise thee, O God; let all the people praise thee. Then shall the earth yield her increase; and God, even our own God, shall bless us. God shall bless us; and all the ends of the earth shall fear him. Ps 67:5-7 KJV

Noah and the Flood- The Great Lesson We Need to Learn

Noah and the Flood- The Great Lesson We Need to Learn

Not long after God finished the creation work, He became angry with the people that were living on earth then as recorded in the book of Genesis Chapter 6. God had no problem with other creatures but with humans.

They lived in sin and were doing all kinds of things God cannot stand, beginning from Adam who ate the forbidden fruit, to Cain who killed Abel and to countless others who followed in their footsteps, the story goes on and on.

To make the matter worse, in Genesis chapter 6 verse 2 it was recorded that;

that the sons of God saw that the daughters of men were beautiful; and they took wives for themselves, whomever they chose. Genesis 6:2 NASU

It has been established that these sons of God are actually fallen angels, and their unholy relationships with humans brought further abuse of the earth, hence God was really angry to the point that He decided to destroy the people.

God instructed Noah to build an ark and bring all his family members in, and in addition to that bring pairs of all existing animals inside the ark. Noah obeyed, and God carried out His judgment upon the world that was in existence then.

All men died, and all things that breathe on the surface of the earth, and there was no place for them anymore.

The great lesson God wants us to learn in this story is that He is ready to judge the people on the surface of the earth if the need arise, but He is ready to preserve the earth.

The flood that came in the time of Noah renewed and refreshed the earth. God could not stand those who killed and polluted the earth with the blood of their innocent victims, those whose imaginations were evil every day.

He had created man to praise, worship and give Him pleasure but instead they only gave total disobedience and sin, he expected them to depend upon Him for their existence, but instead they all went their ways living according to the evil imaginations of their hearts.

Finally God decided to get rid of them before they succeed in ruining the earth, and He brought the flood upon them, He swept them away and repopulated the surface of the earth through the descendants of Noah.

If we look at this story critically we will observe that the way we are using earth’s resources today is not different from the way those who lived in the time of Noah used them. We commit all the sins they committed, and in addition to that we deplete the resources that God gave to us without even giving any regard to the giver.

global-warmingToday as a result of uncontrollable and selfish use, there is global warming, seas and rivers are drying, ice formations are thawing, and there are dangerous trends in climate changes.

We need to see the writing on the wall because we are heading towards another Genesis chapter six. We are practically making the earth desolate and barren and God will never allow that.

We need to reverse this trend as quickly as possible by returning back to God, recognizing Him as our creator and the giver of all good things we are getting from earth.

This we can do by recognizing the day of creation and using the day to send our repentance, praises, and worship to heaven. God will accept us if we come with a broken heart and a contrite spirit.
